I am a mom to two miracles ages 11 and 4 and have been married to an amazingly patient man for just over 14 years. Life has taught me to enjoy the moments that you are in rather than regret opportunities that have passed.
I have wanted to be a writer since the third grade when I met Shel Silverstein at a young writers convention. He read a poem that I won a writing contest with and told me to keep it up. And so I did. I have been a closet writer ever since and have a love affair with the written word. There is just something amazing about holding a book in my hands, and something powerful about creating a story of my own. Books can take you anywhere and you can be anything and I love that. After all these years, I am ready to put my work out there and take others on this journey with me. I hope you enjoy!
